Public Safety

I will always support our First Responders who keep our homes, families, and neighborhoods safe. I believe that public safety is the first priority of local government.

Infrastructure

As a former assistant auditor for St. Louis County government, and my experience dealing with our state budget, I will make sure that our district receives its fair share of those tax dollars for improvements to infrastructure and services

Public Health

I will continue the fight for the health and safety of residents threatened by radioactive waste from the West Lake Landfill and Coldwater Creek.

Economic Development

I strongly support workforce development to attract the kind of high paying jobs with benefits we need to grow the economy while supporting organized labor to protect workers. Helping small business and startups will be a priority to create more jobs.

Parks & Recreation

St. Louis County is blessed with many beautiful parks and recreational areas. I’ll make sure that these assets, like Creve Coeur Memorial Park, are protected and well maintained. The development of recreation programs and facilities for residents of all ages is important to me.

Accessibility & Responsiveness

A County Councilperson is only as good as their ability to listen to you. To that end I pledge to hold regular Meet & Greets called Coffee Talk throughout the 2nd District. I promise to answer your calls or emails when you need assistance or want to voice your opinion.

City/County Cooperation

The 2nd County Council District encompasses the cities of Florissant, Hazelwood, Bridgeton, Maryland Heights, St. Ann, Creve Coeur, Olivette, Village of Champ, Breckenridge Hills, Overland, Edmundson, Woodson Terrace, and Chesterfield. As your State Representative I have worked closely with the municipalities I serve. I will work to foster greater cooperation between all these communities and the county to better serve everyone.
